evaliq.io is a personal blog run by Devansh, a student pursuing B.E Mechatronics at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology based in India.

Every article that contains an affiliate link says so at the top. Not in a footnote. Not in the footer. At the top.

3. What Information This Site Collects
When you visit the site
evaliq.io uses Google Analytics 4. It collects anonymised data: pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and country. This does not identify you personally. GA4 data is processed by Google under their own privacy terms.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
I ask for your name and email address. That’s it. This data is stored by the email platform I use (Mailchimp or Brevo – I’ll update this if it changes). It is used only to send the evaliq.io newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any email, instantly, with one click.
I don’t sell subscriber data. I don’t share it with third parties other than the email platform itself.
When you leave a comment
WordPress collects your name, email address, and IP address for spam prevention. Your email address is never displayed publicly on the site.
Cookies
This site uses cookies placed by Google Analytics and, when active, Google AdSense. These are standard third-party cookies. You can disable them in your browser settings or opt out of Google’s ad personalisation at google.com/settings/ads.
4. Google AdSense
evaliq.io may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to show ads relevant to your browsing history. To opt out: google.com/settings/ads.
5. Links to Other Sites
Articles on evaliq.io link to external tools, platforms, and resources. Once you leave this site, I have no control over what those sites collect. Check their own privacy policies.
6. Your Rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and the GDPR (for visitors in the EU/UK), you have the right to:
- Know what personal data I hold about you
- Request that I delete your data
- Withdraw consent for email communications at any time
- Raise a complaint with a relevant data protection authority

7. Data Retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Comment data is retained unless you request deletion. Analytics data is retained per Google’s standard retention settings (14 months by default in GA4).
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, I’ll update the date at the top of this page. I won’t send a notification email for minor edits — check back here if you want the current version.
